With over 20 years of experience in product development, navigating large-scale organizational design complexities, and a master's degree in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from SMU, Lance is a dynamic and accomplished management and technical professional. He has a proven track record of energizing teams, executing and adapting visionary plans, and delivering measurable results in fast-paced, customer-focused environments.

As a Certified Scrum Trainer® with the Scrum Alliance®, acting in senior leadership positions with technical product organizations, and performing as an efficiency auditor at FedEx's complex overnight airline hub operations, Lance brings unparalleled expertise in updated operational excellence techniques, including advanced certifications focused on product management and leadership agility (A-CSPO®, CSP-SM®, and CAL®). His unique technical knowledge, strategic insight, and leadership make him a transformative force in fostering organizational excellence and innovation.

Lance is a true evangelist, having founded the successful DFW Scrum User Group as a professional networking outlet and a community sounding board for Scrum. He has worked with and learned from myriad industry-leading change agents, shaping his pragmatism and "heart of a teacher" in transformations.

A passionate evangelist for Scrum, Lance founded the thriving DFW Scrum User Group, providing a platform for professional networking and a community hub for agile practitioners. His engagement with several authors of the Agile Manifesto has deeply influenced his pragmatic approach to organizational transformations.

In his most recent work, Lance has concentrated on utilizing Scrum's empirical metrics to enhance a team's planning and predictability to their stakeholder (amidst unpredictable variables).
