COVID-19 Update

To Our Valued Clients,

The top priority at Big Agile is the safety and the well-being of our clients and team members. We also recognize and understand that you have concerns about the coronavirus; therefore, I personally want to update you on everything that we are doing to provide a safe environment for you and our employees as well as maintaining a continuity of business as best we can at Big Agile.

First, we are closely monitoring the latest developments and following the guidance from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). These will be the leading authorities on how Big Agile plans to respond to this worldwide event and we will practice the decisions of the event in an agile manner; just-in-time, just-enough, within the guidelines of the latest responsible moment.

Second, we have taken several actions to prepare our Certification Workshops for online attendance as approved by the Scrum Alliance as well as all other services we offer. We have conducted a few workshops already with great reviews. Our goal was to preserve the interactive portion of the workshop as we think learning by doing is the best approach with Scrum. Most likely, our workshops will need to be in an online format for the next 30-60 days and once you have attended the online workshop, you will be eligible to attend one of our in-person workshops in the future, free of charge.

We are experimenting with times for the workshop now to accommodate the various time-zones. In the near term, most workshops will be 4 days at 3 hours per day in live session with a total of about 4 hours worth of video lectures to watch at your leisure prior to attending the live sessions.

We will also experiment towards the end of April with a 2 day workshop at 6 hours per day (broken out by 2 hour sections with breaks in between). In addition, we will begin scheduling more in-person workshops for June / July once we know more about the current COVID-19 actions. You can always keep as up to date as we are with our sessions on our "live" events page.

Our business partners who would like to capitalize on the scheduling freedom of remote sessions while adhering to current travel restrictions and health safety of large groups gathering; can opt for ongoing coaching in an hourly / online capacity. You or your teams can schedule and pay for time directly with as little process involved for procurement and scheduling. We would love to help and we feel this is a great way to connect with teams during this time of need.

For additional information about COVID-19, please read the latest report from the Centers for Disease Control at www.cdc.gov, or your local health department website.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns related to this event or any Big Agile related matters, please reach out to us at hello@big-agile.com or use our contact form if you want to engage in a discussion about how we can serve you in an online capacity.

On behalf of everyone at Big Agile, thank you for your trust in us. We look forward to serving your teams in any capacity.
